MECHANICAL DIVISION

MECHANICAL DIVISION

ECM has established an in-house Mechanical Division that oversees all mechanical scopes of work on ECM’s awarded projects and can perform as a subcontractor for mechanical work on third-party projects. ECM has been able to save our project’s significant costs and increase the quality of our work by utilizing experienced in-house mechanical staff and equipment. To the benefit of all our projects, ECM’s mechanical divisions has a 10,000 SF fabrication facility that includes a computer-controlled plasma machine, press brake, metal shear, multiple lock formers, welders, and beading and turning mechanical. With this high-end machinery, we have the capacity to produce metal products for commercial kitchens, industrial electrical materials, industrial HVAC systems, custom metal fabrication for commercial facilities, company signage, enclosures, countertops, and backsplashes. Our current list of available machinery and the services specific items can offer is provided below.

• Plasma Machine

◦ CNC plasma cutting machine with a capacity of 10’ x 5‘ x .375 plate. In addition, ECM’s plasma machine can import DWG files and create patterns from the custom request design.

• Snaplocks are used for ductwork construction.

• Transverse Duct Connector (TDF) is used for putting a standing flange on the duct.

• Pittsburg is used for putting locks on fittings.

• Tapin is used for the construction of tapins.

• S-Lock and Drive are used for the construction of connectors.

• A large variety of multi-use tools including, Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding machines, portable welders, lockformers, hand- held plasma cutters, a variety of beading machines, power rolls, pipe/angle rolls, duct lifts, forklifts, personnel lifts, and complete safety equipment.
